Starbucks Around the World: Pireus, Greece

Disclaimer: Since Travelpod does not allow you to export blogs, I shall be bringing old entries to you slowly, but surely, through good, old-fashioned (and painstakingly arduous) Cut-and-paste.

Truth be told, this was obviously a drive-by in the port city of Pireus on the way to Athens… but, Wow!  Starbucks in Greece!!!

Most of our one day in Greece was spent on a tour bus, and the time that wasn’t was in the historic Plaka surrounding the Parthenon in Athens.  So while it’s disappointing to not have a high quality Starbucks photo with me drinking an olive oil latte, I’m secretly relieved that there are no Starbucks in the historic center of the city of Athens.
