Asking readers: What do you want?

me, wondering, what do they want from me?!?

Now that I’m fairly confident there are more people than just my mom and my girlfriend reading the blog, there are a few things I’d like to know:

Mostly, I’m curious about how frequently you want to read posts.  I’ve been admittedly sporadic… sometimes putting out four posts in four days and other times radio silence for two weeks.  In an effort to get organized, I’m wondering if you like the idea of daily, weekly, or bi-weekly posts?

Which day(s) of the week do you MOST like to read blogs?

And, what’s your favorite topic on One Crafty Lady?  Do you like the recipe posts? The travel? The general musings?

Mostly, I want you (the reader) to feel a little more power over the blog – like it’s a choose your own adventure book.  I want what you want; we’re all in this together…

  1. I read most as I see them posted to FB. I have enjoyed them all. I do like the offbeat ones that bring a smile to my face!

  2. I read everyday, but I have noticed that people visit my blog the most on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays, and less on Mondays and Fridays. What do I want to hear? I love to know your opinions on things… especially when you throw in a little snark. Always love that.

    1. Thanks, Tif! I usually end up posting here on the weekends unless I have a big inventory built up, and I’m curious if moving the postings to during the week work drive more “cubicle traffic”, if you catch my drift. I do love to share my opinions…. as you know 🙂

  3. Lauren, It’s hard to find the balance, but I try to post at least 3x a week. I have been posting on the weekend the last few weeks and I don’t think it’s horrible. I think if people like your blog they will visit it no matter what! Many of things you write about are things we could do over the weekend! I’m excited to see what else you have in store for us! xo

    1. thanks, Maria! I was thinking that about my weekend posts too. Perhaps I’ll try to keep the weekends more activity oriented and save my rants and musings for the week to break up people’s lunch hours. Ultimately, who knows?! Every reader is different…
